About

I am a qualified psychologist and psychotherapist, Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS), with 21 years of experience. My foundation is based on psychoanalytic practice from the British Psychoanalytical Society, and I am now completing a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, where I was awarded a Distinction in clinical work.

In Brazil, I worked with adults, children, and adolescents in private practice. Today, I continue working in England, offering psychotherapy sessions to adults both in person and online, and seeing patients facing complex emotional challenges through the NHS.
Currently, I am also part of a research team at King’s College London investigating the project:
“Understanding Metacognition in Adolescents with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Its Dissociative Subtype.”

My experience extends beyond the therapy room, encompassing: supporting families affected by dementia in social care settings; collaborating with organisations across South America and Europe to research, design and implement human development and wellbeing projects.
My approach integrates the depth of emotional exploration with the practical clarity needed to navigate the complexities of modern life.

Psychotherapy

Caring for your emotions, being truly listened to, and beginning to listen to yourself in new ways are essential practices for life.

In psychotherapy, the relationship between therapist and patient goes beyond offering comfort— therapy helps you work through difficult feelings from the past or present, creating the possibility for lasting change and deeper emotional understanding. Sensibility lies at the heart of this work, ensuring a safe space that fosters trust and allows the therapeutic process to have a meaningful impact.

Initial Consultations

The first step in starting psychotherapy is the initial consultations. To ensure a comfortable and meaningful start, I offer a free initial conversation (50 minutes). This conversation provide an opportunity to explore your needs, expectations, and concerns while allowing to “feel” the approach. This process helps us build trust, and determine the best path forward in.
